I am a lifelong artist and crafter. I grew up in a home full of arts and crafts supplies with very creative parents. I love all types of crafts but find my true crafting passion in papercrafts, ribbonwork, and sewing. I love to combine elements of all three into my projects.
I have been an instructor and project designer in the papercraft/scrapbook industry for more than 6 years. I have been fortunate to work for many top manufacturers including: Sizzix, Tim Holtz, Ranger Ink, BasicGrey, Pink Paislee, and Therm O Web. My work has been published in several books, magazines, and product catalogs and has been featured on television. My classes have been offered at stores, conventions, and online. I am an active blogger, blogging on my own blog (tammytutterow.com) and also on the Sizzix blog (Sizzixblog.blogspot.com). I am also the Design Team and Communtiy Coordinator for Sizzix.
When I am not creating, I am a wife and mother of three who loves anyting and everything shabby, chippy, and vintage. I love to scour flea markets for old treasures. I am also a fair weather gardener so if the spring breezes are blowing, you will probably find me playing in the dirt in my flower garden.
- Sizzix Machines: Vagabond, Big Shot Pro, eclips
- Sizzix Favorites: Tattered Florals Die, Tattered Florals Mini, Tattered Florals Garland
- Sizzix Wish List: Scoreboards XL Frame, Scoreboards Suitcase, Sizzix Creative Center (someday that lovely will be in my studio!)
- Sizzix Tip: I like to cut multiples of favorite dies at one time and store the extras in a container with my other embellishments so that they are ready when I need them. For instance, I love the Mini Movers & Shapers Hearts and use them on projects all the time. When I need one for a project, I go ahead and cut a few extras. It doesn't take much more than an extra few seconds and saves me time when I need them for a quick project later on.
