Little Blue Dress Card

Hi! Jeanne here today with a fun and easy to make card using the Princess Dress & Deckled Cards die from the new Brenda Walton Favorite Things Collection.

Sizzix Die Cutting Tutorial: Little Blue Dress Card by Jeanne Streiff

This dress card would be so much fun for a bridesmaid (or a bride done in white) or someone that is going to prom or another dress up occasion.

I started my project with a folded metallic cardstock card.

Place the fold line just below the cut line of the die (the shoulder area of the dress) and cut with your Sizzix Big Shot Machine

Place Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (Flower Rings) along the skirt area of the card and run through the Big Shot Machine

This is what it will look like (you could stop here it's so pretty!).

I sponged a little ink to the high spots of the embossing and added a strip of lace for a belt.

I die cut some flowers from a coffee filter. These flowers (plus more) are included on thePrincess Dress & Deckled Cards Die.

I layered three flowers(6 layers) in each size and then scrunched the petals and attached to my card.
