Birthday Ladybug

Hi there! Jeanne here today with a whimsical birthday card.

I used Sizzix Framelits Die Set 6PK - Labels, Majestic #2 to create my shaped card.

Create your card with black cardstock. Position the just above the fold of your card.

die cutting
I use Post-it notes to secure the die cut in place before die cutting with my Big Shot.

After die cutting you'll have this pretty shaped card.

I quickly made some polka dots with white acrylic paint and the end of a paintbrush.

Cut a red panel smaller than you card with Sizzix Framelits Die Set 6PK - Labels, Majestic #2 .

Stamp ladybug image (from The Stamps of Life) and die cut with Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles. Cut a slightly larger black mat with Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles, Scallop.Assemble layers as shown above.

Stamp sentiment and die cut banner and a red flower from Sizzix Framelits Die Set 12PK w/Stamps- Birthday Cake.

Attach a rhinestone to the ladybug. Glue a button to the flower and assemble as shown.
