Mustached Easter Card

Happy Monday! Jeanne here today with an non traditional Easter card.

Would this be cute with a brown body as Mr.Potato Head?

Cut and fold a 4 1/4" square card from white cardstock. Place your 658691 Sizzix Framelits Die Set 10PK - Egg die just under the folded area (see top above). Die cut with a Big Shot. This is one of my favorite things about the Framelits dies - the inside edge is your cutting edge so you know EXACTLY where the cut will be.

After you remove your cardstock from the die your fold area will look like this.

To make your card stand upright you'll need to trim a teeny sliver off the bottom to get a flat area.

Die cut and off white paper and attach to your egg card.

Sponge edges with brown ink.

Die cut your eye parts with little circle dies from 657916 Sizzix Framelits Die Set 6PK w/Stamps - Flowers, Daisies.

Sponge all the edges with brown ink. Cut the off white circle in half. That will be the eyelids. Assemble as shown above.

Die cut the mustache and hat from 659063 Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 5PK - Top Hats & Mustaches. Assemble as shown.
