Grandpa's Gift Card Box

Hello everyone! Jeanne with you here today!

I don't know about you, but I always seem stumped when it comes to gifts for the guys in my life (which is most of the time since we have four boys!).

I saw the 656546 Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Box w/Scallop Flap & Flowers die from Eileen Hull and thought... hmmm... gift card holder!

I die cut Sizzix Little Sizzled Mat Board (using the Crease pad that is included with a Big Shot Pro) on my Big Shot Pro (a Big Shot would also work with this die).

Sponge entire die cut with brown ink (front and back).

Die cut patterned paper.

After die cutting, I trimmed the paper so the mat board edges would show. I trimmed about 1/8" iinch from the places where the mat board would show following what would be the crease lines in the paper. Attach to box and sponge edges with brown ink.

Assemble box.

Add gift card. Finish by adding button and ribbon (as shown in the top picture).
