Flip-its Gift Pocket Card

Happy Sunday! Jeanne here with you today!

I'm always looking for interesting ways to present a gift card. Today I'll show you how to make a little envelope to add to a Flip-its card.

die cutting
Die cut your card with Sizzix Movers & Shapers L Die - Card, Rectangle Flip-its, Sizzix Big Shot Machine and Premium Crease Pad, Standard.

Sponge edges and openings with brown ink. To get a crisp edge on the openings I mask with Post-it notes.

This is what it will look like after removing the masks.

To create an interesting edge slide a Sizzix Framelits Die Set 5PK - Labels, Fancy #4 die under the edge of your paper and die cut.

Once cut you'll have a pretty edge like this.

Assemble your envelope by running adhesive along the inside edge. I added a repositionable adhesive to close the envelope. Stamp the sentiment from Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK w/Stamps - Banners #2 on the envelope.

Use Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK w/Stamps - Banners #2 to stamp and die cut your flags & flowers.

Here is a closer look at the front of the card.

Attach the envelope to the inside of the card as shown.

To finish your card add more flowers along the edge and a flower on the flap of the envelope.
