Mini Snowman Card

Hi everyone. Jeanne here today to share a sweet little snowman card using 658180 Sizzix Bigz w/Bonus Sizzlets die Snowmen & Let It Be from Basic Grey.

I'm a big fan of making shaped cards from dies. All you need is a die that has a semi flat bottom and a top that can either be covered (like in this case) or that can be placed with the fold just under the cut line.

Here's how I made him:

Cut and score cardstock. Align the fold at the top of the snowman's head and cut. The hat will cover the fold line. After die cutting, trim a wee bit off the bottom of the snowman so the card will stand. Sponges edges with brown ink.

Die cut and extra snowman in brown cardstock and the hat and nose.

Trim off all the arms (ouch!). Attach the brown cardstock behind the front of the snowman. I added two black eyes slightly larger than the eye holes and a dot with a white gel pen to highlight.

Sponge the hat and nose with brown ink and attach. Add Polar White Flower Soft to the puff on the hat. Attach a cute little bow to the hat. Add buttons to his tunny and he's done. :)
