I love how easy it is to put a card together when die cutting paper with Flip-its dies. One of my favorite things to do is use a two sided paper. It always looks like you've spent hours piecing all the layers together when in fact it's only a few minutes. This was a 15 minute project even with the fancy flower on the front!
Begin by die cutting a piece of two sided paper with the Flip -its Diamond die.
With a black pen doodle around the diamond and outside edge on both sides of your card. Yep... I'm a doodler!
Sponge the edge of your card (both sides) and a strip of patterned paper. Attach paper to the inside of your card. Another great thing about Flip-its die cards is that you can hit your scrap paper pile.... you won't need much to embellish your cards.
Stamp and die cut the inside sentiment with 667919 Word & Tags Framelits/Stamp set (love those cute label Framelit dies!) and attach to your card.
Now to make the fun flower! Die cut 3 blue and three green flowers with the Flower Layers & Center die. Sponge the edges with Chocolate ink.
Take each petal at pinch it just a bit to add some shape to the flowers.
Assemble your flower with foam tape alternating the colored paper from largest to smallest petals. Add a cute button and some twine to the center.
To finish off the inside of my card I added a little die cut flower (from 667919 Word & Tags Framelits/Stamp set) to my sentiment and stamped some flowers in Sky ink along the edge of my patterned paper. I added some pearls for a little bling. I added a strip of lace to the other edge to the other edge.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful - I'm trying to decide which of these dies to acquire first!
ReplyDeleteThese dies are great. Love this card. It is hard to decide which of the flips it's to get first. Thanks for the inspiration.
