Today for I Spy Saturday I want to show you four projects that I spied that all feature the same die, Eileen Hull's Sweet Treats Candy Jars.
First up, this fabulous card by Gerry van Gent that features a super cute little house with opening doors. I found this card in the gallery at Two Peas in a Bucket: http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/369092-gerry-van-gent/1843135-welcome-home-i-heart-ippity/.
After spotting the card by Gerry I followed a link to her blog and was so thrilled to see more inspiration for the Candy Jars die. How gorgeous are these pieces? Gerry shares photos for each of these projects on her blog here: http://gerryscrafts.blogspot.nl/2012/06/something-little-sweet-and-girly-scrap.html.
The next two examples come from Eileen herself! For this jar, she shares how she create a sweet mini book project for her granddaughter featuring the jar for the covers. Find it on her blog at: http://eileenhull.blogspot.com/2012/08/another-candy-jar-project.html
This second example is also comes from Eileen. For this project she used the jar to create a birth announcement for her new grandson Benjamin. She shares the details on her blog: http://eileenhull.blogspot.com/2012/07/sizzix-and-craftside-team-up.html.
I love how these four examples show different creative ideas for the Candy Jar die, projects way beyond the candy treat packaging that you might think of for the die. The certainly demonstrate the versatility of dies!
If you have projects featuring Eileen's dies we could love to see them! Please share them with us this week in our I Spy gallery below. We would love to see what you have created!
I hope you enjoyed this edition of I Spy Saturday! Don't forget, each week we are sharing what we are spying on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and on Flickr as well as surfing around the world wide web looking for your Sizzix creations. You can also share a link with us from your blog or online gallery with the InLinkz button below.
