Pop-up 2torial: Pop 'n Cuts "Hello" card

June is here! And what does that mean? It means that Pop 'n Cuts are going to be available this month! Yippee!

Today's Pop-up 2torial shows how to use the Pop 'n Cuts Base A2 Card kit oriented horizontally to make a bright and cheerful "Hello" card.

Here are photos of the card from the video:

Yesterday I spent the afternoon at Scrapp'n Savvy, in Spring, TX, demoing the Pop 'n Cuts. We had an awesome time and all the attendees received a take-home kit to make this card. The colors for the card were picked (pun intended) from the happy apple paper, which features bright saturated colors.

As I always say (I really do say this a lot) the beauty of die cutting is that you pick the colors, you pick the patterns, you pick the textures! You could make this same card again in different colors and get a completely different look!

Need proof? Here is the card again, this time using elegant glittered papers. I added some inked edges, a stash metal flower, a "just a note" rubber stamp, and switched to the Brackets On the Edge die. Other than those few minor changes, I followed the same steps/pattern as the apple card, but the card has a different feel, doesn't it?

With dies, you're buying shapes and possibilities, not colors and patterns! There are infinite creative combinations.

Thanks for stopping by and happy die cutting!

Karen
