This past weekend I traveled to the Boston area to meet up with Karen Burniston, Cheri Kimball, and Jill Tarayao to teach at the Collins Group Spring Education and Trade Show for Sizzix.
We had a great time teaching classes to the retailers who attended. We offered classes about the new Pop 'N Cuts die system, Stamp2Cut and the eclips machine, and a class with a fun mix of new designs by Eileen Hull, Hero Arts, Dena Designs, and Scrappy Cat.
We also participated in the evening make and take session which featured a dessert bar (yum!). On the final day we participated in the trade show where Karen and Jill both demonstrated products.
During the in-between times we played tourist and visited downtown Boston to site see. We visited Boston Harbor and Quincy Market.
We snapped so many cell phone photos that 3 of the 4 cell phones died before making it back to our car. (Hmmn. . . where did we park that car?)
We ate some really amazing sandwiches at Sam La Grassa's and real New England seafood at Legal Sea Foods.
And finally, we shopped for fun souvenirs to take home. We had a great time exploring Boston and teaching at the event.
As I packed up my suitcase, I had our blog readers on my mind and how much they love fun giveaways. . . so I scored three sets of our weekend projects to share with three lucky blog readers! Each set has three different class kits and one make and take project with a bonus Textured Impressions folder. All include complete instructions. All you need to do to have a chance at scoring these awesome project kits is to leave a comment on this post. You have until midnight Friday April 6th, 2012 PST. I will randomly select three people to receive one of the three collections of kits. Good luck!
