Sweet....

Hello, Friends!

People keep trying to tell me that summer is coming to an end.  I'm sorry, but I refuse to believe them!  It's finally nice and HOT here in So. CA, and I plan on hitting the beach a few more times before fall sets in.  ;)

In the meantime, here's a summer looking layout by Beth.  I love how bright and cheery the colors are!

Instructions:

Cut a piece of cardstock to size to form a scrapbook page base. Die-cut Scallop Heart out of patterned paper. Attach to page and trim off excess. Cut a strip of patterned paper to size and adhere to the page. Cut a strip of decorative trim to size and adhere to the page. Crop a photo to size, mat on cardstock and attach to the page. Die-cut the Phrase, Sweet out of cardstock, embellish with glitter and adhere to the page. Die-cut Vine w/Leaves out of cardstock and attach to the page. Die-cut a Bird out of cardstock and attach to the page. Die-cut Flower Layers #5 out of patterned paper, embellish with ink and a button, layer and attach to the page. Embellish with ribbon.

Monster Birthday Time!

Hello, Friends!

My buddy Gretchen is back to share another great card with us.  It's a Monster Birthday!  ;)

Instructions:

Outside: Create a 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” card base. Decorate the outside with monster patterned papers, a top and bottom border and stamp sentiment. Ink edges.

Inside: Ink edges of the inside of your card. Use your die cut machine to cut a Zig Zag pop-up out. Fold according to die cut directions. Adhere to the inside of the card, lining up the center folds. Cut out two monsters from patterned paper and glue one each to the pop-up tabs. Use the Celebrate set to cut two balloons and one label die. Stamp image on label, ink edges, and glue down to the inside of card as show in example. Assemble balloons according to directions (one piece easily slips into the other), tie embroidery floss on the ends if desired. Glue balloons together and then adhere to one of the monsters.

Home Decor Pillow

Hello, Friends!

Debi has created a beautiful pillow!  I think I'm going to ask her to make three for my living room!  {Do you think she'll say yes?}  ;)  This pillow would be perfect in a living room, study, or just about anywhere!

Instructions:


Apply fusible web to fabric as indicated on manufacturer's instructions. Die-cut Elegant Flourishes out of fabric and adhere to the front of a pillow. Embellish with ribbon.
