Red, White and Blue!

Hello, Friends!

The Fourth of July is almost here!  Start celebrating with this adorable card by Debi!

Instructions:

Die-cut a Card, A2 w/Flap out of cardstock and patterned paper. Layer materials and fold along crease lines to assemble. Emboss card front using the Cornflowers embossing folder. Trim pieces of patterned paper to fit across card front, layer and adhere in place. Die-cut Phrase, Tweet out of cardstock and attach to the card front. Cut a circle out of patterned paper and adhere to the card front. Die-cut a Bird out of cardstock and patterned paper, layer colors, embellish with ink and a pen and adhere to the card front using foam dots. Add T- pins for Bird’s legs. Wrap a ribbon around the card, tie a bow, embellish with string and button.

Friends Forever Scrapbook Page

Hello, Friends!

Friends are such an important part of our lives.  This layout by Debi showcases a great friendship.

Instructions:

Cut a piece of cardstock to size to form a scrapbook page base. Die-cut "Friends" out of cardstock using a Movers & Shapers Magnetic die and the Base Tray. Trim around the word and attach to the page. Die-cut a Weathered Clock out of cardstock and attach to the page using adhesive and a brad. Die-cut the edges from a large rectangle using the Brackets On the Edge die. Cut a long rectangle out of cardstock and attach to the page. If desired, embellish with stitching. Crop photos to size and mat on cardstock and adhere to the page. Wrap a piece of thick thread around the page twice, feed through a button and tie into a bow. Attach the threaded button to the page to keep it from spinning. Use a brayer to apply ink to the female (negative) side of the Tickets embossing folder, carefully place cardstock inside the folder and emboss using your Big Shot, BIGkick or Vagabond machine. Remove the embossed paper and set aside to dry. Once dry cut around the embossed shape and attach to the page. Die-cut a Rosette out of patterned paper, fold along perf lines and assemble. Embellish with a button and string. Die-cut letters from the Typeset alphabet and attach to the page. Embellish with buttons.

Hello, Friends!

It's no secret that I *love* the eclips machine.  :)  I also *love* stamping!  This project by Jeanne Streiff has both!  :)

Instructions:

Use the eclips to cut scallop bag from light blue cardstock with 656856 Sizzix eclips Cartridge - Albums, Bags & Boxes. Sponge edges of scallops with brown ink. Stamp “a happy birthday” sentiment and flowers on front of bag. Assemble bag with tacky tape. Thread ribbon through hole and tie in a bow. Stamp sentiment on blue cardstock. Stamp “wishing you” sentiment on a strip of white cardstock. Attach under bow. Add pearls.

Hello, Friends!

There is no denying, cupcakes are popular!  :)  This great layout by Debi showcases not only cute cupcakes, but the ever popular banner idea as well.

Instructions:

Layer cardstocks and patterned papers and adhere to form a scrapbook page base. Crop photos to size, mat on cardstock and adhere to the page. Layer colors and attach to the page. If desired, embellish with stitching. Cut Birthday Candles out of cardstock using the eclips machine and All Occasions cartridge. Layer colors and attach to the page. Hand-cut a Banner out of cardstock. Cut hearts out of cardstock. Layer and attach to thread. Adhere assembled banner to the page. Cut the Phrase, Hello Cupcake and its shadow out of cardstock using the eclips machine and Sweetalicious cartridge. Adhere to the page. Cut a Scallop Circle out of cardstock using the eclips machine and All Occasions cartridge. Cut a Circle out of cardstock using the Picture-in-Picture feature. Adhere Circle over Scallop Circle. If desired, embellish with stitching and attach to the page. Cut Cupcake #3, Candy #2, Lollipop and Strawberry out of cardstock and glitter paper using the eclips machine and Sweetalicious cartridge. Layer materials, embellish with buttons, string, and ribbon and attach to the page. Embellish with heart and flower cut outs.
