Heart Ornament
This Heart Ornament would go perfectly with the banner from earlier this week! Deena was on a roll when she created this Valentine decoration! :)

Die-cut Heart Layers out of felt and cardstock. Layer die-cuts and adhere. Punch a hole in the top center of the heart for hanging. If desired, embellish with stitching. Add string for hanging the ornament. Embellish with a ribbon and glitter. Die-cut flower and leaves (from the Butterfly Kisses Alphabet) out of felt and patterned paper, embellish with a button and adhere to the ornament.

Getting Ready!
Hello Friends!
We are busy getting ready for the biggest trade show of the year! It's time for CHA Winter, where all the stores come to shop for their customers. This year, it's in Los Angeles, CA. Near our headquarters, but far enough to stay on site.
We'll be meeting with store owners, distributors and other industry experts and showing off our new products! :)
We hope to bring you some video on our blog next week, so stay tuned!

Emboss Hearts onto three squares of decorative metal and mat using colored cardstock. Punch a small hole in the top of each square. Attach squares using metal jump rings. Tie string of decorative squares to the top of a candle holder with ribbon. Embellish with small silver charms.

Valentine Decor
Your home decor isn't complete with these beautiful candles by Deena. I think it's a great idea to have a trio of candles on your dining room table and change out the die cuts for each holiday! :)

Emboss three pieces of complementary color-core colored cardstock using the Flowers & Dots, Flower Vine #2 and Swirly Vine embossing folders. Lightly sand to highlight each design. Trim embossed cardstock sheets to size and attach to candles. Embellish with jewels, ribbon, pleated ribbon, buttons and metal charms. Place candles on candlesticks.
Note: Remove embellishment before lighting candle.

LOVE Banner
Banners are ALL the rage! This one by Deena is the perfect decoration for Valentine's Day!

Die-cut Fanciful Album pages out of cardstock to form a banner. Emboss four pieces of complementary white-core colored cardstock using embossing folders, sand to highlight the designs, trim to size and attach to banner. Die-cut letters out of cardstock and patterned papers and attach to the banner. Die-cut a Heart (from Heart Set #2) out of white-core colored cardstock, emboss using embossing folders, sand to highlight the designs and adhere to the banner. Weave ribbon though the holes across the top of the banner for hanging. Embellish with ribbon, jewels and a metal charm.

I thought I'd share some great Valentine Projects with you this week. This Valentine Box was created by Deena.
Instructions:
Use the top of a candy box as a template and a cut a piece of white-core colored cardstock to size. Emboss cardstock using the Hearts #4 embossing folder, sand to highlight the design and adhere to candy box lid. Emboss a piece of cardstock using the Phrase, Be My Valentine and use glitter highlight the sentiment. Trim embossed sentiment to size, double-mat on cardstock and adhere to candy box using foam dots. Finish by embellishing with a ribbon.

Snowflake Embellished Candle
Hello, Friends!
Have you ever been in the situation where you need a gift, but you don't have time to go to the mall, and you really don't want to spend a lot of money? {I know I've been in that situation!} ;)
Well, the next time you are at the craft store, pick up a few extra candles and you could easily create this masterpiece for a gift! ;)
Debi created this stunning candle that would make the perfect gift!

Die-cut Snowflakes from layers of tissue paper. Using a heat embossing tool, carefully heat up the side of the candle until it is slightly warm. Quickly place Snowflakes on warm candle. Lay a piece of waxed paper over the top of Snowflakes and heat up just to melting point. Remove waxed paper and finish heating up Snowflake until wax just barely covers tissue paper. Repeat this step until entire candle has been covered. Tie ribbon around candle and add jewels for embellishment.

Fresh Flowers?!? Nah...THIS is better!
Hello, Friends!
I love to have guests over at my home. And decorating the table always seems to be very important to me. :)

Die-cut Flowers (from Flower Set #4) out of patterned papers. Fold Flowers to give dimension and embellish with buttons and jewels. Attach Flowers to foam heart shape.
