Sweet Treats Gingerbread Gift

Hello, Friends!

My good friend, Vicki Garrett created an incredible {yummy!} project for us today!

Stamp the pennants in artichoke ink. Using the small pennant die, die cut the stamped images.  Cut matching borders in red with the smallest scalloped pennant.  Layer the green pennants onto the red background.  Using a 1/8” punch, punch a hole in the top corners of each pennant and thread the bakers twine through.

Cut two strips each of the vintage lace and scallop giant borders.  Adhere them around the top and bottom of the can.  Attach the pennant banner around the top layer of the paint can with foam dimensionals, leaving a little slack in the bakers twine.

Stamp the Candy twist stamp in Strawberry ink onto white paper.  Punch out the images with the 1” circle punch.  Sponge to the left hand side of each with caramel/light brown ink. Adhere to the middle of the scallops around the bottom of the can with dimensional dots.

Stamp “joy” in artichoke onto a small piece of white and punch out with a small tag punch.  If you don’t have a punch, you can cut around it.  Attach it to one of the pennants, layering the flower and small pearl embellishment on top.

Fill with your favorite treats and try not to eat them before you give your gift away!
